Public tasting of the National Wine Show Circuit.

Discuss wine tasting notes and food matching suggestions with the experts. The Wrest Point Royal Hobart International Wine Show Public Tasting is part of the National Wine Show Circuit, Australia’s largest public wine tasting with nearly 3,000 different wines to sample.

• Royal Hobart Agricultural Show 21 – 24 October
Experience the best Tasmania has to offer in everything from fashions to primary industries. The Royal Hobart Show is one of the major annual attractions in the Tasmanian entertainment calendar. Held each October In southern Tasmania, Show day is a declared public holiday. Thousands of people are involved in staging the Show, and there are thousands of entries in a very wide range of Show competitions, ranging from cake decorating and dog judging, to art, photography, fashions, and primary industries. While it also includes recognition of Tasmania’s strong and proud agricultural contribution to Australia, the Show also reflects contemporary Tasmanian society and lifestyle. It provides visitors with a snapshot of Tasmanian community genius across a wide range of pursuits. It is also a major date in the Tasmanian entertainment calendar, with local and interstate acts performing almost non stop in three entertainment hubs at the Show.
