The heat has been on in Hobart in October 2009 and the fantastic response to this landmark local production has been extraordinary. Miss Saigon is a huge undertaking and it has been an absolute honour and pleasure for all involved in this enormous pro-am theatre production to have such an overwhelming response.
The hard work and dedication has ensured not only that the Tasmanian premiere became a reality, but has been rewarded by the public support and reaction. One of the most successful, emotive and operatic West End / Broadway musicals of all time has finally had its moment in Tasmania – everyone involved in this major theatrical production extends heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all who came to the show.
And yes, there will be a new premiere in 2010… watch this space!
